After a sell-out premiere season, Tim Finn’s glorious new musical has returned to Melbourne!
Following months of hard work and anticipation, last night we celebrated the official opening night of Melbourne’s return season of LADIES IN BLACK.
Melbourne's Regent Theatre was dressed for the occasion, donning a red carpet and dotted with Australian celebrities dressed to the nines.
The glorious opening night ended with a standing ovation, and the rave reviews have been rolling in ever since! Take a look at one of our favourite reviews from TheatrePeople:
"This show is for the clever girls out there. It’s for those of us who love clever girls and want to inspire future clever girls. Seeing a group of fantastic women representing a variety of ladies who support each other, all while being their incredible, flawed and strong selves, is a true treat in theatre."
There is no doubt that this brand new Australian musical has had audiences and critics raving, and AKA are overjoyed that Melbourne loves this home-grown production as much as we do!
Described as “an engaging, entertaining Aussie musical that will leave you smiling” (Herald Sun) LADIES IN BLACK is now playing at the Regent Theatre for a strictly limited season and must close on March 18.
