AKA is excited to announce that John Cleese’s highly anticipated stage adaptation, Fawlty Towers Live, will make its debut at Sydney’s Roslyn Packer Theatre tomorrow tonight!
This world premiere event comes after weeks of hilarious photo shoots, recordings, rehearsals and interviews with the unsurpassed master of comedy, John Cleese.
Needless to say, the AKA team is thrilled to be working on the national campaign and collaborating not only with Cleese but the rest of the all-new Australian cast, led by the incredibly talented Stephen Hall as Basil Fawlty.
Based on three episodes from the much-loved BBC TV series by the same name, the show has been adapted for the stage by Cleese, and will feature some of his favourite and most memorable creations from the timeless series.
Produced by Michael Coppel and Philip McIntyre in association with Louise Withers, Fawlty Towers Live will entertain audiences for five months, with performance seasons in Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, Brisbane and New Zealand.
Make sure you don’t miss this exceptional evening of hilarity, but remember whatever you do … don’t mention the war!
